Vernors soda is one of the oldest sodas still in production and has been around through a lot of historical moments.
Idea
Show Vernors being a part of influential moments in history that it wasn’t around for to exaggerate its old age.
Why Focus On Gen Z?
Vernors is a heritage brand that started in Michigan in 1866 but didn’t start being distributed outside of Michigan until 1997. Unfortunately distribution didn’t help the brand become more well known and added with the fact that Vernors hasn’t made an ad since the 90’s no Gen Z, unless they’re from Michigan, knows this soda exists.
This means Vernors’ current audience age range is dying out as no new customers are trying their soda. This is where Gen Z comes in.
